The scanner comes with 2 x AA 1.2V - 2300mAH NiMH Rechargeable batteries, 5V - 1000mAH USB adaptor with convertable EU 2 Pin and UK 3 PIn plugs. There is also a USB cable in a box, which enables you to charge it by using your i-Phone or other smart phone USB adaptor or if you are on the road, you can also charge it by using a USB adaptor, which plugs into the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle.
